Half Way Through with the MTC!

Dear Friends and Family,

Here is my rundown of the week...

Half Way Through the MTC Fiesta

Elder Doxey & Elder Kemp

Wildlife at the MTC

Monday-
Just like any other Monday. Woke up at 6:30 got ready and ate breakfast. Went to class and studied Spanish. We had a TRC with Ana. Shes awesome. All the older Elders got ready to leave. One of them had a mini fridge for his insulin. We just snagged it. We'll see how long we'll have it. We had more studying and class that night.
Tuesday-I taught the class about Agency. Pretty much just had a discussion. Like three Hermanas in our zone are sick and in the hospital. Elder Kemp, Elder Smith, Elder Erickson and I found a new study room that almost no one knows about. We had choir and devotional. It was on setting an example to the younger generation. Elder Chun got a huge package and we had a fiesta for our half way mark.

Wednesday-P-Day and can pretty much do whatever we want.  Wednesdays are my favorite day.
Elder Doxey Reading His Birthday Card from his District

Thursday-We had service at 6:20 in the morning. Just cleaned bathrooms. We had more TRCs and they went pretty well. Ana said that she wants to learn more about The Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. So we taught the restoration and the Atonement.

"The District"
Friday-Elder Kemp and I had companionship inventory and just went over our goals and what we want to improve on. Also just talked about the mission and life in general. Our district also had an inventory all together. It was good. Elder Smith and I destroy in basketball.

Saturday-The days just keep getting better. The spirit was strong during personal study. I read the Book of Mormon in Spanish. Saturdays don't feel like Saturdays at all! More class and studying.
Sunday- was our first fast Sunday and i think its the longest I've fasted. A new video series came out for missionaries called the SafeZone. Kinda feels like we're watching ESPN but for missionaries. kinda dope. The district a week below us is getting crazy so we have to discipline them. Really feel the spirit during sacrament meeting. All in all this week was way good.

Thanks for all the love and support! -Elder Doxey
